Asked by a Berkshire design agency, Haydn’s created direct mail designs for Vauxhall. This prestigious organisation is one of the oldest British car brands. Founded back in 1857, it now serves over 11% of the car market in the United Kingdom.
Vauxhall Trade Club and Drive Vauxhall sells car parts to the aftermarket. These print designs promote their services, advertise consumables, and market the brand. These designs incorporates both design and illustration. This really is a match made in heaven for Haydn, as it combines illustration, like editorial illustration, with that of design. What could be better?
Using Vauxhall Drive’s comic book style, like it’s ‘POW!’ to it’s ‘Amazing!’ graphics. Or creating a bespoke vector illustration used for ‘The MOT Checklist’. These print material had to serve it’s purpose, be fun and edgy, whilst sticking to the brand. This was the challenge which these designs deliver.
