Before I talk about a painting which I’ve recently finished, I first want to tell you about a couple of new projects which I’ve put onto my portfolio page. Along with my Venice Illustrated Map which I talked about last week, I have also added a new editorial illustration about ‘Triple Constraints’. I’ve also added a new feature which allows you to see what my latest projects are, with a fancy little ‘NEW’ icon! I’m really happy about how my new website design looks, but please be sure to leave me a comment on this, as I’ll really appreciate your feedback! Now on to the illustration which I very recently finished. This was a personal painting of a woman from a magazine, which I just had to paint because of it’s atmosphere, lighting and colours. This was produced with gouache in about 3-4 hours, which was scanned into Photoshop for editing. I hope you like it!
