As I’ve been showcasing a lot of my illustrative work for Pick Me Up this year, including ‘Have A Word With Him‘, ‘World Cup 1966‘, and ‘The Psycho‘, I thought it would be a good idea to feature some photographs of the show within a very own blog post.
I’ve contributed some work alongside The Illustrated Game, which you can see below. We’ve got a great setup going on, showcasing our work on a subbuteo table, football illustrations hanging up on the walls, a section where you can design your own football kit, and our stall were you can buy art prints and original artworks.
I’ve also shown my illustrations which I produced for our subbuteo table, which showcases everyone’s work from the collective (even shows an action shot of me playing subbuteo pretty badly!). I created illustrations for the six yard boxes and penalty area, and was chosen the international teams of USA and Ivory Coast. It’s a great idea that mixes both football and illustration together!
I’ve been at the exhibition for the last few days as it’s been a great creative atmosphere, which has some pretty talented people exhibiting! I really recommend the show, give me a Tweet if your planning on coming up to see it!
The show runs until the 5th of May.
Have you been to Pick Me Up this year?
Did you enjoy it?
