As I’ve been preparing for Pick Me Up Exhibition in a weeks time (sorry about all of these blog posts about this exhibition, it’s pretty exciting), I wanted to produce a couple of original paintings that I’ll be selling there.
I’ve created a few other artworks that I’ll be selling at the event, including ‘Have A Word With Him’ and ‘Word Cup 1966’ fine art paintings and drawings. I’ve worked along the theme of classic English football moments, and today I’ve painted ‘Stuart Pearce – The Psycho’ illustration. If you have no idea who Stuart Pearce is, he’s a previous English footballer who got the nickname ‘Psycho’, because of this sort of portrayal. This was the moment after he scored a penalty in Euro 96, and as a result, looked like a complete Psycho.
I’ll also be selling some of my other works as art prints, which you’ll also be able to get your hands on at the exhibition.
It would be great to see you at Pick Me Up Exhibition in London, and say Hi to me if you do! I’ll be showcasing my work alongside other great illustrators, (including my buddy James W. Hunter).
Many thanks for listening and visiting my news page today. You can follow what I’m up to on my Twitter, Facebook or Instagram pages, I’ll really appreciate it if you do, and don’t be afraid to say hi to me! Many thanks again, and have a great day!
