Alongside all of the personal greetings card I seem to be producing at the moment, which unfortunately, I cant show you yet, (as there birthday cards so need to keep these secret), I decided to have a little break and paint a favourite theme of mine, and that’s a portrait / figurative illustration.
Creating the magazine illustration, I wanted to focus on getting the overall colours of the piece working as one, and make those red pearls stand out amongst her clothing. Hopefully I can show you some of these personal greetings cards which I’m producing for a couple of people, but will let you know about this soon!
