Following on from my blog post yesterday, which I told you about many things which are happening currently, I wanted to get away from this and produce a personal portrait illustration.
If your new to the party, I’m a big fan of Breaking Bad, and loved the show when it was on. This inspired me (or attempt) to paint a portrait of every main character in the show. This started with the one and only Walter White, followed by my favourite character from the show; Jesse Pinkman, which was then lead by the great Hank Schrader and now, Gustavo Fring. This character was a pretty terrifying character, who was calm and collected in most of the scenes which he was in, but also had a very dark side indeed. He became an important character within the whole of the television show, for just being so damn ruthless!
I wanted this to be represented within this illustration, and decided to paint this portrait with red being the heart of my colour palette. As I’m bringing in more digital elements into my work now, I’m really enjoying this process of further experimentation and discovery!
I hope you like this Gustavo Fring portrait illustration guys, let me know what you think by commenting below!
Many thanks for listening and visiting my news page today. You can follow what I’m up to on my Twitter, Facebook or Google + pages, I’ll really appreciate it if you do, and don’t be afraid to say hi to me! Many thanks again, and have a great day!
