I love producing portraits, and as a portrait illustrator, I’m always fascinated by portraits, whether that be personal or commissioned projects. Portraits can be very rewarding, as the wrong paint mark can make a portrait look completely different.
A face is so unique and individual, that what makes it such a interesting challenge!
I wanted to take this big passion of mine, which you can see more of (my Breaking Bad portraits here), and illustrate Walter White, from the hit television show, Breaking Bad.
What a TV show, and what a great character Walter White is! After watching the end of Breaking Bad a few months ago, which was awesome, I thought it would be a good idea to practice some of my portrait skills by painting one of the best characters ever.
Gouache & Watercolour Portrait Illustrator
Away from editorial, publishing or advertising illustration, I’ve grown considerably as a portrait illustrator, and have illustrated for many clients and customers for the last few years. Taking my style of gouache, watercolour and digital to produce a variety of portrait illustrations.
If you haven’t managed to check out Breaking Bad yet, I highly recommend that you do, as it’s such a classic! I’m considering painting singular portraits of the main characters of Breaking Bad, but we will see if I manage to!
