Following on from a recent sketchbook update, were I shared some of my sketchbook drawings from earlier this month, I thought it would be a good idea to show you my sketchbook drawings from a recent holiday to Crete in Greece.
It was a fantastic week long holiday which I very much needed, which included lots of sun, good times and relaxing – it’s just a shame I’ve come back to the English rain in August!
Within this travel sketchbook update, I’ve included drawings from the landscape in-front of the villa (which featured a stunning landscape of the sea, other villas and many trees), a couple of drawings from the flight back to and from Greece (which includes an interesting story), and other little landscapes thrown in the mix too.
All of these drawings have been produced with colouring pencil within my sketchbook, which I love to use when I’m out and about, and lets me practise my colour on the go. I’m planning to turn some of these drawings into painting illustrations in the future, so look out for some personal paintings soon!
In terms of commissions and other illustrations at the moment, I’m currently working on a website design for a local swimming company (which is very close to being completed – which I can show you soon – woop!), a vector drawing for another local client (which I’ll hopefully show you sometime in September), and an up and coming album cover illustration for an musician (work hasn’t started on this yet, but will update you when it does!)
If you want all the latest info and the first glimpse of what I’ve been working on, check out my social media links below, I’ll love to see you on these platforms!
Thanks, and I hope you enjoy my drawings! You can follow what I’m up to on my Twitter, Facebook or Google + pages, I’ll really appreciate it if you do, and don’t be afraid to say hi to me! Many thanks again, and have a great day!
