As a few things have been happening in the last week or so, I thought it would be beneficial for me to publish a weekly round up, and show you everything which I’ve been up to!
Earlier this week, I been watching a lot of David Attenborough’s ‘Life Story’ on the BBC, and have become pretty inspired by the series (and addicted too)!
It’s a great nature documentary, which follows everything from how cheetahs go about their daily routines, to a young chimpanzee trying to fit into an adult world, it’s all so interesting!
So I made a few of the paintings below, which are all produced with gouache, watercolour and pencil.
You can see a kingfisher catching a helpless fish, an onlooking cheetah, and a ‘Lone Chimp’ – and am pretty happy with the end results. I’m tempted to turn these paintings into art prints or greeting cards soon, but will come back to you with this!
You can actually help me out a bit – would you like to see them turned into art prints and / or greetings cards? Be sure to Tweet me your thoughts!
In the next coming days, I’ll also be updating my entire online SHOP, which will showcase a lot more art prints which you can own and purchase for yourself or someone you know.
This will include prints such as my ‘Match Fixing in Football’, ‘Map of Venice’ and my popular ‘London Illustrated Map‘, which you can see below.
If you’ll like to see me illustrate a particular city of your choice, do let me know!
And finally, I’ve been writing and packaging these Christmas cards which are going to be sent to all of my customers and clients which I’ve had the pleasure of working with this year, and it’s been quite a year – and it’s not over yet either!
This includes my ‘Merry Christmas’ & ‘Christmas Baubles’ Greetings Cards.
Thanks to all of the clients and customers which have brought my work, shared my work on social media, or those of you who have commissioned me this year – I really appreciate you guys!
I hope you’re having a great festive period, let me know what you’re currently getting up to, I’ll love to hear from you!
Many thanks for listening and visiting my news page today. You can follow what I’m up to on my Twitter, Facebook or Google + pages, I’ll really appreciate it if you do, and don’t be afraid to say hi to me! Many thanks again, and have a great day!
