Alongside Haydn’s sketchbook for drawing, Haydn also equips a sketchbook solely for his other favourite mediums: paint.
Produced with watercolour and gouache, he paints the themes of portraiture and landscape, from Pablo Picasso, landscape paintings of Vietnam, to the legendary artist David Hockney.
The painting sketchbook allows Haydn to practice refining his painting technique and work on personal work away from commissioned pieces. Usually painting with a limited colour palette, Haydn also experiments with different colour combinations and transfers this into his client work.
