Following on from a great trip to London yesterday, when I met up with a few friends of mine, I got really inspired to paint from our trip to the V & A Gallery, near Hyde Park. Bit embarrassing really, but that’s the first time I’ve been there, so it was definitely an eye opening experience to say the least, (I know your still in shock that it’s my first visit)! As I was really motivated to just paint anything, I grabbed a portrait from a magazine and just decided to paint that, with my own colour’s and own stamp of course! I decided to go for cold and warm colour’s within this illustration, and played around with using both blues and reds at the same time, and see what results I could come up with. I always treasure inspiration and motivation, as I find that once it’s gone, you can’t really force yourself to get it back again, so I really got into this painting and am happy about the end result!
As I’m here, I just wanted to talk about my SHOP and my Etsy Store, which has all new products, such as Christmas greetings cards, art prints and other celebratory greetings cards. So if your in the mood for a few high quality products head over to these links above, and I’ll really appreciate it! All the items are packaged within plastic sleeves for protection.
Many thanks for listening and visiting me today, I hope you enjoy this new portrait illustration.
