Recently finished this editorial project about the ‘Joy Of Losing’ and how we like a challenge when we play games against one another. We become bored with games which are not challenging and would rather it was harder to win.
I really liked this article, and as I came up with quite a few ideas on this article I decided to produce a series of three, all with similar ideas. All of the illustrations below react towards this editorial, showing difficulty in winning.
Two different compositions of a hurdles race, one’s hurdles being higher than the rest, and one sumo match, big versus small.
I wanted all of them to have the exact same size, to keep it consistent and so you concentrate on the idea and illustration.
Many thanks for listening and visiting my news page today. You can follow what I’m up to on my Twitter, Facebook or Google + pages, I’ll really appreciate it if you do, and don’t be afraid to say hi to me! Many thanks again, and have a great day!
