Since my last sketchbook entry, I’ve managed to get through quite a few sketchbooks, which are mostly filled with observational and imaginary drawings, including portraits, still life’s, landscapes, notes and the odd character on the bus.
I find sketchbooks a great way for me to practise my drawings on a daily basis, so I keep fresh and don’t regress with my drawing. It’s always a great way for me to keep my eyes in check, as it’s easy to draw what I think is in front of me, instead of drawing exactly what’s in front of me!
I also wanted to take this opportunity to tell you guys that I’ll be showcasing some of my work at Pick Me Up Exhibition this year with The Illustrated Game, which I’m really excited about.
The exhibition has always been a favourite of mine, which showcases great illustration work every after year, and feel privileged to be showing my work there, woop! The exhibition runs from April 24th to 5th May, so I’ll hopefully see you there guys!
If your planning on going give me a heads up on Twitter or Facebook and I’ll look out for you!
Many thanks for listening and visiting my news page today. You can follow what I’m up to on my Twitter, Facebook or Google + pages, I’ll really appreciate it if you do, and don’t be afraid to say hi to me! Many thanks again, and have a great day!
