Following on from my travel sketchbook blog posts earlier this week, this post is about general sketches, drawings and recordings from my current sketchbook.
With this post I have used pen frequently, as I really like the quality that the pen creates.
Below shows a number of portraits which are always a strong feature in my sketchbook, as I really enjoy drawing them, as every face is unique, and subtle at the same time.
You can easily go wrong with a portrait illustration or drawing though, as faces are subtle, and requires you to get every angle right, or it can look like a totally different person altogether, which has happened to me a lot of times.
