I often publish my sketchbook pages onto my blog so you can see what I’m currently influenced, inspired and drawn to. It’s a place where I can draw what I want, which is a big luxury of keeping a sketchbook.
I draw daily in my sketchbook, and try and experiment and hone my skills as much as possible. I’m usually drawn to observational recordings, especially that of portraits and figurative drawings on public transport.
Within October’s Sketchbook entry, you can see a whole deal of observational subjects which I’ve drawn, with my favourite being the sleepy character on the train who nearly fell off his chair (the blue drawing).
You can see the collection of drawings which I’ve produced in October below, using a mixture of mediums from coloured pencil, graphite pencil, to the old trusted pen.
I hope you enjoy these drawings from my October 2014 Sketchbook.
