I thought it was about time I produced another illustrated pun for Kids With Puns, as I’ve really enjoying producing my previous illustrations for this fantastic online publication.
If you’re new to Kids With Puns, it’s an an online publication which is run by Tom Dunn, which celebrates the illustrated pun. He’s released three fantastic printed issues already, which you can get your hands on here! Its great to do another illustration for Kids With Puns, as it’s always good to produce a humorous illustration every now and again!
This pun titled ‘Where does Arnold Shwarzenegger sit in the cinema? Aisle B (At the Back)’, was produced within my sketchbook, painted with gouache and then finally scanned into Photoshop for editing. I’m still experimenting with incorporating digital elements into my illustrations, as you can see from the light sources of the artwork. This is something which I’m really enjoying, and I hope you are too!
I wanted to incorporate the text and illustration into one image, which I’m really happy with how it turned out.
