I’ve always had a keen interest in green issues, and how we can protect our environment by changing our daily habits. I wanted to produce an art print which informed people about these issues and how you can become greener.
Most posters I see about green issues are rather cold and boring, so I decided to mix together graphic sequence and poster elements.
Taking inspiration from my previous World War One Poster (which is seen on my Posters section on the work tab), I have used graphic sequencing which allows the viewer to go through each stage/panel with ease.
This is a project which I really got into, as it was a topic which I was interested in. I have hopefully created something which is eye catching and educational to the viewer. I made sure each panel was brightly coloured so it would stand out as a poster. Each panel was painted separately in gouache and watercolour, and then scanned and arranged in Photoshop.
Many thanks for listening and visiting my news page today. You can follow what I’m up to on my Twitter, Facebook or Google + pages, I’ll really appreciate it if you do, and don’t be afraid to say hi to me! Many thanks again, and have a great day!
