Happy New Year!
I hope you’ve had a great Christmas, and it was packed full of friends, family, good times, and the odd mince pie added to the equation!
Let’s make 2015 as epic as 2014!
As well as relaxing and taking some time away from Illustration and freelancing for a while, I’ve also been working towards a secret deadline, which I can now showcase to you (in part).
I’ve been working towards ‘The Book Illustration Competition 2015‘ for the Folio Society, which has to be submitted by January 19th.
I can’t show it to you just yet, as I want to keep my submission a secret until the deadline has expired, but I can certainly showcase a few little shapshots of the finished illustrations.
The competition asks creatives to submit 3 internal book illustrations, as well as a book binding for the three ‘Ghost Stores’ – which are very enjoyable to read!
I’ve had a lot of fun producing these illustrations for the competition, and hopefully I’m lucky with my submission, here’s hoping!
