It’s been a busy few weeks for me at the moment, as I’ve produced a new typographic illustration for the UKScouts, illustrated a new logo design for a local plumbing company, and can now reveal my latest advertising illustrations for Bishopswood Golf Club in Tadley, Hampshire.
The golf club approached me to create 3 different leaflet designs to promote each side of their business; to advertise their golf course and facilities, room hire for local businesses for meetings and business conferences, and food and drink that they wanted to advertise too.
Taking all of this into consideration, and to create a leaflet that attracts new clients and customers towards their business, I set about the task of creating various sketches of the design, which you can see below. You can see that the design of the leaflet has changed quite a bit from the original sketch, that only made the illustration much stronger as a result.
Whilst keeping in close contact with the client, and sending them rough sketches and feedback throughout the process, these leaflets include a ball and tee, a boardroom style table, and a classic and refined place to eat, which are communicated within the 3 leaflets.
I focused on the main colours of the Bishopswood’s brand, which is mainly blue and green. From here, I set about creating the designs on Adobe Photoshop, to create a crisp and professional looking leaflet design. I also included a subtle watermark of their logo to tie the three leaflets together.
Creating a leaflet design that is not only unique, but represents their business in many different ways, turned this into a very enjoyed project to produce.
