I always try and keep a sketchbook handy with me, so I can draw whenever I’m free, or recently, on public transport, which is the ideal location for drawing people, places and portraits.
I think it’s important that I achieve a balance of observational and experimental drawings in my sketchbook, as both aspects of drawing are just as important as each other.
But for this week’s sketchbook entry, I have just covered observational drawings, from around my house and on public transport, drawing faces and expressions.
I’ve also got a bit addicted to drawing things from my garden, as I really enjoy the process of drawing something which is free and is not set in one particular way, like a building for instance.
Many thanks for listening and visiting my news page today. You can follow what I’m up to on my Twitter, Facebook or Google + pages, I’ll really appreciate it if you do, and don’t be afraid to say hi to me! Many thanks again, and have a great day!
