I’m pleased to announce that I can reveal a project that I’ve been working on for the last couple of months, and have produced the website design and development for Odiham Swimming Club in Odiham, Hampshire.
Updating their entire website to entice new children (and adults too!) towards the Swimming Club, and to give their website a fresh new look, it’s been a fantastic project to work on, that I thoroughly enjoyed.
From my early years to 17 years old, I had swimming lessons at this great swimming club, so it’s close to my heart! I was also a water helper (co-pilot to the main swimming teacher basically) for a number of years, so I was thrilled to be asked about creating a new website for them!
Focusing on a modern, friendly and overall fun design, I concentrated the design on three main colours, that of reds, blues and whites. This is combined with strong illustrations, icons and graphics that sit with the website, that encourages new members towards the club!
Of course, illustrations are a big part of this website design and development, that are included within the top banner of the home page (I’ve included some snapshots below). This includes a birds eye illustration of swimmers, a pair of swimming goggles, and a photograph of a group of children during their lesson.
I’m really pleased with this whole project and how the overall website looks and feels, and I hope you like it too!
I’ve included some snapshots from the website below, but to get a real taste of the website design, go check it out here! It’s a great Swimming Club based in Hampshire!
