Let’s See Mr. Wenger!

As the English Premiership football season is truly starting to heat up, there’s been lots of upsets and surprises along the way, which I just had to react towards, in the form of an illustration. I then thought back to the start of the season, when I produced a illustration when I reacted towards Arsenal’s uncertain future, as they were doing poorly at the time. Even though I still really like the illustration, this previous illustration can’t be further away from where Arsenal or now, sitting high and mighty at the top of the table! As this is the case, I wanted to produce another illustration which communicated if Arsenal could manage to win the title, using the same sort of colour’s as the one previous to this illustration. And if they actually do go on to win it, I’ll have to produce another illustration to cap of the series, as it would be a great turn of events! I also wanted to experiment further with typography within my illustrations, and see what other techniques and elements I can throw into my designs. It was also a good excuse to paint another portrait, as I love producing them!

For reference, the top illustration is my most recent Mr.Wenger illustration, with the older painting below it.

I hope you like today’s portrait illustration mixed with some typographic elements. Be sure to comment below as I’ll love to hear what you think about this illustration. Or you can follow me on Twitter, Facebook or Google +, I’ll love to see and hear from you on these platforms. Many thanks again, and have a great day!
