Taj Mahal Landscape Painting

I’ve been working hard in the last few weeks working on some new illustrations! From commissioned work, new projects to personal landscape painting, it’s all happening!

I’m using Adobe Photoshop more within my work recently, making my illustrations simpler. I love clean illustration, which is where my work is heading. I find it inspiring and motivating towards my own work.

When I started illustrating as an illustrator, my work drifted between messy and clean. This resulted in an illustration style which was confusing – it had to be one or the other. The main reason for this was because I didn’t use digital elements as much as I should have.

I now realise how much I dislike my old work, as it’s in the middle of spectrum! (I suppose we all go through evolution in some sort!)

How This Landscape Painting Evolved

Taking this into consideration, I can reveal a new landscape painting of the Taj Mahal. This landscape painting was produced with gouache, watercolour and digital. My series of landscape illustrations features the Sydney Opera House and Basil Saint Cathedral.

Making everything straight, tidy and uniform, I’m overjoyed with how this illustration turned out.

I always paint with a limited colour palette within my landscape painting as it adds focus to my work. This illustration features blues, purples, whites and reds.

You can see my other landscape paintings that I have produced, including Taj Mahal, Sydney Opera House to surfing landscape artworks. Let me know what you think of this landscape painting by commenting below, I’ll love to hear what you think!

Many thanks for listening and visiting my news page today. You can follow what I’m up to on my Twitter, Facebook or Google + pages, I’ll really appreciate it if you do, and don’t be afraid to say hi to me! Many thanks again, and have a great day!
